A Bit About Me
Hi. I am an experienced public relations volunteer and event specialist with 20+ years of hospitality and customer satisfaction know-how. I aim to demonstrate a proven knowledge promoting VIP experiences and generating timeless occasions for all guests.

Majoring in Communication Studies provided the skills necessary to further advance my previous work and volunteer experience. I have put these skills to test in numerous projects helping local businesses plan and execute events, including social media campaigns.

Education has been the focal point the past few years. My determination to enhance the skills from on-the-job training will open new doors and allow my dreams to become bigger and better.
Working in a nonprofit setting is partly to be credited for propelling me toward a new career field. Most of my adult life revolves around a background in childcare and raising my family. It was a pleasure to experience administrative opportunities once I returned to the workforce. As my role evolved within the organization, I found my niche in creating corporate and community-involved events and charitable social occasions. Not only did I curate many business-related events, but I also spent a vast amount of time marketing, networking, and procuring funds for nonprofits.
Volunteering has been a big part of my experience in public relations and event management. As part of the women's ministry at my church, I assisted in planning annual retreats, holiday parties, and monthly meetings. I also spent numerous years dedicated to my leadership role in our local chamber. While serving on two different committees within the chamber, I was a recipient of a few awards. The skills I acquired during this time have set me on a path for future success.
