My Story
Have you ever been asked the question "Who are you?" only to find yourself unable to answer?
Several years ago, I found myself staring into the face of my therapist dumbfounded. Who am I, he asks? Well, I don't quite know who I am anymore. That was the thought pinballing inside my head as I am sure he could see the bright neon "ALERT ALERT" flashing across my forehead. It was an eye-opening moment that I am sure many have faced but yet will not admit.
I had spent the majority of my adult years as wife and mama, only to lose my own identity. I had done my best to live life as I was taught: take care of your family. It takes hard work to be present for each person in your family and hit a home run in all areas of your life. Admit it. Others may not have seen the disorganization inside from being stressed and perhaps even a little bored.
At this time, I took a leap of faith and returned to complete my college education. That decision has changed my life in so many ways.
